Dhaka Heritage Hand-Painted Rickshaw Art Metal Trunk

A lidded storage trunk formed from upcycled galvanised tin and painted by rickshaw artists in Dhaka's Bangshal quarter. The panels carry the same crowded, high-chroma imagery — film stars, tigers, city skylines — that once covered the back panel of every cycle rickshaw in the city. Each trunk is painted freehand without stencils, so no two are identical, and every piece is signed by its painter. Because the imagery is improvised, buyers should expect variation between units.
