Specifications & Craftsmanship
The spun aluminium kettle found in every roadside tea stall across Bangladesh, hand-painted in the folk idiom of Sonargaon. Floral and geometric motifs are laid on freehand in gloss enamel, with the interior deliberately left bare food-grade aluminium so nothing painted touches the tea. Sold chiefly as a decorative and display piece for homeware and museum-shop buyers, though the 1.8 L body remains fully functional on low heat.
